Following the successful publication of volume 1 of the brand-new open access academic journal – the Offa’s Dyke Journal – the Editors invite submissions for volume 2 by 1 March 2020. We are interested in submissions of any articles presenting original research on frontiers and borderlands past and present, specifically from archaeological, heritage and/or historical perspectives. Our key focus is the linear earthworks of the Anglo-Welsh borderlands, but perspectives applying new theories, methods and analyses from other frontiers and borderlands are very welcome. Guidelines for authors and further details can be found here.

The Offa’s Dyke Journal is the journal for the Offa’s Dyke Collaboratory. It is co-edited by Howard Williams and Liam Delaney and is supported by the Offa’s Dyke Association and the University of Chester.
