At the 39th Theoretical Archaeology Group conference, Dec 2017, I organised a session with the title ‘Dykes through Time: Rethinking Early Medieval Linear Earthworks’. Full details of the session can be found on the Offa’s Dyke Collaboratory website.

I’m pleased to announce that the videos from the session er 2017 has now been released on YouTube through the Recording Archaeology channel. Here’s the link!.

This was the second real-world academic event organised in direct connection to the Offa’s Dyke Collaboratory. Thanks to Doug Rocks-Mcqueen and his volunteers for their hard work in recording this event! It is great that this is coming out ahead of the first issue of the new journal I’m co-editing with Liam Delaney: the Offa’s Dyke Journal.
