??????????Archaeological Journal Volume 172 for 2015 Part II

The Editor of the Archaeological Journal seeks high-quality contributions for Volume 172 for 2015 Part II.

The Archaeological Journal is the prestigious peer-reviewed publication of the Royal Archaeological Institute and a premier annual journal dedicated to the archaeology of the British Isles and adjacent areas of Europe.

Each new volume reports the results of original archaeological and architectural survey and fieldwork on sites, monuments and landscapes. The Archaeological Journal regularly includes original analyses, syntheses and notes on new archaeological research. The journal invites contributions to the archaeology of the British Isles and neighbouring regions from earliest prehistory to the present day, making it a unique venue for the dissemination of multi-period and thematic, as well as period-specific, archaeological investigations. The extensive reviews section of the journal is highly regarded, providing current scholarly assessments of recent publications.

The journal is widely distributed nationally and internationally. It can be found in most university libraries as well as local and regional libraries. The journal is also mailed out free to all Ordinary Members of the Royal Archaeological Institute. Furthermore, the Royal Archaeological Institute has created an online resource for both back-issues (vols 1-120) and more recent volumes of the journal.

Archaeological Journal will publish:
